Is this elegant Graco convertible car seat worthy – good reviews?
The Graco Milestone All-in-One convertible car seat has received rave reviews for being almost perfect as a convertible car seat. It offers excellent safety, an excellent restraint system, seatbelts and headrest with a thoughtful and useful design, great comfort and the ability to grow with your child. The belt may have some flaws, and the size and design have their own small problems.
Growth with child
This car seat wouldn’t have been attractive if you hadn’t tried to make it one of the last car seats you’ll ever buy. And because it has to be all-in-one, it can make the dream of stopping buying car seats come true.
All in one? When I hear about the car seat, I can only think of the fact that this car seat would rather let my child go through primary school. This car seat can now be more clearly marked as 3 in 1. This will not meet some of the needs you will have in a child seat from birth to full growth. That’s the reason.
First of all, this is not the best child seat I have ever seen. Technically it is suitable for a 1.5 kg baby, but I think I prefer traditional child seats. This seat seemed too big for a small child, and the jumping seat was not as far away as the baby would have wanted.
It is also not the only Graco convertible car seat, there are several other good options.
Secondly, it will not become abooster without a bottom. Of course, in due course you’ll only pay about $50 for one of these seats, so this is still a good purchase compared to some of the 4-in-1 car seats that come with it. But these are my remorse and my general complaints.
Stadiums. The three phases mentioned above are the rear car seat for children between 5 and 40 pounds, the rear car seat for children between 20 and 65 pounds and the belt tensioner for children between 30 and 100 pounds.
If you actually use this car seat from the moment you bring your child home from the hospital, before he or she reaches the weight limit for safety belts, you will travel many kilometres from that object. Even if, as I said before, you use it for about 1 to 6 or 8 years, it is still a great purchase and will keep you from buying a car seat for at least 5 years. Sounds good.
Seat Conversion. This chair can easily be moved from stage to stage. The first step is to simply put the seat back in place, tilt it backwards and hold the child’s soft cushion. Then just throw away the filling, adjust the tilt, move the feed belt from the back to the front and place the seat forwards.
The last step is to remove and store the straps, remove the extra padding and adjust the headrest upwards. Everything is so simple and very easy to do. In addition, the instructions accompanying the chair are very clear on how to proceed.
It’s hard to find the best car seats. There is no room for a safety assessment of car seats. Every consumer or retail website has a favourite in one way or another. So let’s look at the safety aspects of this car seat, and I’m sure you’ll decide it’s one of the safest.
Meets all safety standards. It must be clear that all car seats sold in the United States and Canada must meet federal safety standards in order to be sold on the public market. Like all Graco car seats, Milestone SafeSeat has been developed and tested to all standards. It was approved in lateral, backward and forward impact tests that were twice the national standard.
In addition, the frame is made of steel, which makes it sufficiently strong and reliable in the event of an accident. It also places the car seat at about 22 pounds, which is not heavy, but not exactly light either. Finally, the temperature has been tested for hot and cold climate. Graco covered all their security bases.
Clockwise Clamping System Clockwise Locking. The car seat is not suitable if it is not properly installed in your car. Graco chose the InRight locking system with the Milestone car seat. The locking hook has a beeper that lets you know when it has clicked.
Graco says you can safely install the car seat in a second, but I don’t know. When I fastened it at the back with the lower anchors, I heard a click and fastened it as tight as possible, it took about 10 seconds. The forward-facing installation took the same amount of time. But she still felt a bit wobbly for this paranoid mother with the lower anchors and the rope, because she was so big and my backseat was a bit crooked. I couldn’t pull hard enough! So I decided to use a seat belt (fastened) and an upper tether instead of the lower and upper tether. After that, he was extremely safe, and I had no doubt he was safe.
A Happy Harness
Twisted straps, fine buckles, loose straps, twisted chest clamp – ¦ I could always mention possible problems with seatbelts. However, the mysteries of the milestones are astonishing. Graco really thought about all the headaches of the parents when designing this child seat.
Belt adjustment. It is one of the coolest features of this car seat. The headrest and shoulder straps are connected to each other. To lift the straps, hold the handle on the top of the car seat and pull the headrest and shoulder straps to the correct height. No belt to read! And with 10 different positions it’s very easy to find the right size.
This simple belt adjustment system really impressed me. I fought many times for my big but muscular baby to need straps. This car seat made it possible to adjust the safety belts in the wind. Did I mention that there are absolutely no reading belts?
Adjusting the belt to loosen it is another story. I wish it wasn’t so easy! To unlock the straps, press the release button on the front straps. Every time I do it, it seems to get easier and easier. I wonder if my baby will ever be able to pull the straps alone. It’s not the safest idea.
Storage of candy. I fought with her when I used my own convertible car seat. What should I do with five-point belts when I no longer need them? Do you keep them in a place I’ll never remember? Do I need to fasten my seatbelt somewhere in the back of the seat? Graco solved that problem for me.
Milestone has an incredible to storage compartment for the turnstile when not in use. All you have to do is lift the padding behind your child’s back to place the plastic cover in the top secret compartment. Easy to reach and easy to use. I like it!
We dealt with the obvious aspects of car seats: Safety, convertibility, installation and constant change of safety belts. What about everything else? Let’s look at the little things Graco did to keep an eye on children and parents.
Plug-in pillow. This car seat is therefore also suitable for small children. It has a soft, compressive filling in the kit to support your baby’s head, neck and body. As I said, this filling is great, but I don’t think it’s suitable for a baby that weighs up to 5 pounds. An 8 kilo baby would be fine in this car seat, but small children would not be so safe. However, the upholstery is nice, because it can be removed and washed in the car.
Machine washable cover. Speaking of the washing machine: The rest of the filling is removed for disposal in the washing machine. If you’ve ever had a child who got sick in the car or had an accident in a child car seat, you know how great this feature is! The upholstery is easy to remove and attach, minimising headaches when cleaning car seats with Milestone.
4 Resetting the position. The Graco Milestone All-in-One convertible car seat has 4 different folding positions, 2 for the front and 2 for the rear. This is what makes it possible to adapt to such a wide range of ages. Even if your senior doesn’t want to sit every day, it can be useful for driving or dreaming of car surprises. A warning: When the tilt angle adjustment knob is installed at the rear of the car seat, it is easily inaccessible. Just make sure that the upper flap is adjusted before the baby arrives to avoid problems.
Mobile cupholder. Personally, I like it when the cupholder moves. On the seat of my son’s old car, which was facing forward, the glass holder stood on the opposite side of the car and stood between my son and the car door. It was hard for him to get in and out without spilling a drink. This cup holder can be moved from one side to the other so you can place your baby’s glass exactly where you want it. It also has a reasonable size, so it could probably contain most cups and even a few thinner bottles for the younger years.

While the safety of our children should always come first, we should not dwell on the differences in safety between the brands of car seats. They have to pass stringent federal security tests before they are sold in the U.S. market.
However, incorrect installation or use of the car seat can lead to safety problems. For this reason, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awards user assessments to each car seat (see below). The simpler and clearer the instructions, the more likely it is that your child will wear the correct belt every time.

That car seat made a big impression on me. The Graco Milestone All-in-One convertible car seat has all the safety features you need. Thanks to the locking system, the car seat can be safely secured. The adjustable belt and headrest were so fun and easy to use, and I love the storage compartment for the belt. I also like the possibility to wash in the car, the soft upholstery, the foldable tray and the mobile cup holder. The problems I encountered, such as the possibility of loosening the straps over time and the limited access to the tilt knob when tilting, were of minor importance. I don’t think any of them broke the dealership contract. Add good features to the beautiful design and reasonable price and Milestone is a smart purchase for any parent.
