Travel systems are one of the greatest inventions for parents. They make it easier for your child to get from the car to the stroller and back when you have a mission. In my experience, my newborn son fell asleep at almost every car journey. So I was so grateful that I could pull his whole car seat out of the car and put him in a pram without waking him up!
Urbini’s Omni Plus travel system is popular because it is affordable and has features that are normally only found in first class pushchairs. It is a multimodal pushchair with many adaptations that has to be pushed by a parent.
Because of wheel and dust problems I don’t recommend for Urbini Omni. There are better options such as Graco FastAction, as you will see in this article, and complete overviews of the best travel systems.
What is a travel system?
Touring systems consist of a stroller, a car seat and a car seat installed in your car, also known as a combo. The car seat can be clicked to use it as a single system.
The best thing about travel systems is that you can easily move your child from the car to the pushchair without removing him or her from the car seat. It is amazing that your child falls asleep in the car and you arrive at your destination. Just take him out of the car, get him in the stroller and get out of there.
Probably the only stumbling block in the travel system is the unfortunately available child seats that are only used around your child’s first birthday, so you end up spending money on another car seat for a short time. I think it pays to be flexible, but if you’re on a tight budget, watch out for the convertible seats that are good for newborns!
Urbini Plus Travel System
- Maximum weight of the car seat: 4-35 lbs
- This is the standard for rearward-facing child seats. A minimum of 4 pounds guarantees that it will fit almost every newborn, even a successor!
- Height of car seat: 32 inches
- Due to the limited size and weight of this car seat, you should want to check out the convertibles for your child’s first birthday!
- Removable front insert
- This insert is ideal for newborns – it helps support the cradle’s head until they get some!
- Maximum Walker Weight: 50 lbs.
- This maximum weight is quite common in travel system strollers.
- 5-point stroller strap
- I think he should be in a wheelchair. Guarantees the safety and comfort of your baby.
the player can go to the cradle
This is a feature you won’t find on many lower price buggies. It allows you to put the baby in the stroller when he’s asleep. It’s also a handy feature for changing layers on the go. Sometimes it is difficult to find a shallow, safe place to change a baby’s diaper. But if you don’t mind putting it in a pram (and I certainly don’t mind), it’s nice to be able to lay your child on its stomach!
Stroller seat can be slid forwards or backwards
It’s a function you don’t get in every wheelchair. In many travel systems, when using a car seat with a pram, a child can sit facing backwards, and when they are old enough to sit in a simple pram, they can sit facing their child. I like the fact that the Urbini Omni has this function because it gives you more adjustment possibilities, depending on how you drive against the sun, how you use the stroller, etc. I like the fact that the Urbini Omni has this function because it gives you more adjustment possibilities, depending on how you drive against the sun, how you use the stroller and so on.
If you’ve read any of my reviews, you’ll know I love adaptation! Most cheap strollers don’t have this feature, so that, along with all the other features, is a big deal for me. Pushing a pram that is too short quickly becomes tiring. The ability to adjust the steering wheel makes older parents feel more comfortable.
Problem with Urbini Omni
You want your newborn baby to be cuddled only with the softest materials. Unfortunately, the Urbini Omni Plus system does not contain any high-quality fabrics. It makes the car seat rough and scratch-sensitive. This is a big problem for me, because I don’t want to put my child in a situation where I don’t want to sit down.
Let’s talk about the wheels. When I bought my son’s stroller before he was born, I saw people talking about terrible wheels in the reviews, and I thought: Well, it’s only part of the stroller if the rest is good enough? It’s not fair.
The wheels determine the difference between a good and a bad pushchair. The stroller I now use has pneumatic tyres, and the longest stroller I have ever used has low pneumatic tyres. Boy, as soon as I inflated those tires, everything changed! Suddenly it was easier for me to take the bends and the pressure was ten times less.
The reason I mention this is that the wheels of the Omni Plus are simply not good enough. After only a few months of use the locks and thebarely rotates, making it almost impossible to manoeuvre the stroller. It’s not just a small problem. You won’t want to use a stroller without good wheels. Despite the fact that this tourist system is an affordable and aesthetic option, it simply won’t last long enough. Therefore, in my opinion the is not a goodtourist system, despite its nice features.
Quick and elegant foldable
I am a big fan of Graco buggies because they are available for , but they have been servingfor a long time. They are not as practical as, for example, BOB buggies (which are equipped with all conceivable functions!), but they do what they have to do.
In addition, Graco Click Connect car seats are very safe and easy to use.
The Graco FastAction Fold motion line offers many options for every budget. The Graco FastAction Fold Click Connect Travel System is their basic model, but if you need more features, you can check out the rest of their range, including the Sport, which comes with a stroller and plenty of storage.
Weighing about 22 lbs, these buggies are quite heavy and although they are easy to fold, they are not as flat as heavier buggies. If you have a small car, you might want to equip yourself with small buggies. However, the Graco FastAction line is one of the lightest strollers in this price range.
British Travel System B-flexible B security 35
With Britax B-Agile B-Safe it is difficult to make mistakes because of the high quality of the stroller and car seat and the safety features of the car seat.
What makes these options better?
Graco FastAction strollers are not as adjustable and multifunctional, but they are built to last. The wheels are of high quality and do not stick to you even after months of use. Moreover, the fabric is soft and durable. Then you don’t have to worry about all the frills if the pushchair isn’t easy to push or is uncomfortable for your child.

Take a look at this overview of Best Travel Systems 2018, which offers different options for every budget.
As with most things in life, the Urbini Omni Plus travel system means you get value for money. It has some nice features for which you normally have to pay the highest price, but in this respect it is simply not of very good quality. Honestly, I’d rather pay extra in advance for a better stroller than buy a new one, because the Urbini Omni Plus has become too disappointing to use.
If you are looking for a travel system that offers the same price range as Urbini Omni Plus, check out Graco FastAction Fold Click Connect. It does not have as many features as Omni Plus, but it is a high quality stroller that Omni Plus will more than survive. So even if you don’t have all the features you need, you’ll have a reliable pushchair that you can use for years to come!
